This document outlines the key policies, terms, and disclaimers associated with booking and traveling on an international holiday package with Yellowboxtravels. We request you to go through all points carefully before confirming your package.
Pricing, Payment & Cancellation Disclaimer
- Package price, payment terms, and cancellation charges are initially indicative and subject to change based on availability, currency exchange rates, and vendor updates.
- Final terms, inclusive of pricing, payment plan, inclusions, and cancellation rules, are displayed on the Package Review Page at the time of checkout. These shall be binding and final.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Once booked, the package becomes non-cancellable and non-refundable, unless stated otherwise. All associated components (flight, hotel, tours) have specific cancellation penalties which apply in full upon confirmation.
- In case of any component-level modifications, updated terms will apply.
- TCS (Tax Collected at Source) is non-refundable in case of cancellation or changes. However, the TCS paid can be claimed as credit under your annual income tax return filing.
Rescheduling & Date Change Policy
- Date changes are subject to availability and component-specific policies.
- Rescheduling fees do not cover the difference in airfare or hotel cost for the new date. Fare differences / hotel rent differences will be charged separately.
- Availability on new dates is not guaranteed until reconfirmed.
Visa & Documentation
- Visa procurement is the sole responsibility of the traveler unless explicitly included in the package. Any delays, rejections, or refusals will not be the liability of Yellowboxtravels.
- No refund will be applicable in case of visa refusal or delay, and standard cancellation terms shall apply.
- Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your return travel date.
Travel Insurance
- Travel insurance is highly recommended for all international tours and may be mandatory in certain countries.
- If not included, you may opt to add insurance at an additional cost. Any medical expense incurred abroad is the sole responsibility of the traveler if insurance is not availed.
Currency Exchange & Price Variation
- Package pricing may be influenced by exchange rate fluctuations. Any substantial variation in foreign currency conversion after booking may affect the final price.
- Yellowboxtravels reserves the right to revise the pricing in such scenarios.
Health, Vaccination & Entry Requirements
- You are responsible for understanding and complying with the health and entry requirements (vaccinations, COVID-related protocols, etc.) of your destination.
- No refunds will be provided if travel is denied due to non-compliance with such regulations.
Package Inclusions & Exclusions
Not Included in Package Price:
- Personal expenses (meals not mentioned, minibar, alcohol, laundry, tips, etc.)
- Visa charges (unless included)
- Meals during transit or at airports
- Dubai Tourism Dirham Tax (payable directly at hotel)
- Gala dinner charges during peak season (Christmas/New Year)
- Hotel security deposits
- Optional tours not selected in advance
Flights, Baggage & Airlines
- If your flight is via a low-cost airline, checked baggage is not included by default and can be added at extra cost.
- Baggage requests should be made at least 6 days before travel.
- Yellowboxtravels is not responsible for flight delays, cancellations, or baggage losses—this lies with the airline directly.
Hotels & Check-in
- Hotel check-in is typically at 2:00 PM, and check-out at 12:00 PM. Early check-in/late check-out requests are subject to hotel discretion.
- If your preferred hotel is unavailable, we will provide a similar category alternative.
- Some hotels abroad may require a refundable deposit at the time of check-in which you will have to pay separately. It is not included in package rate.
Confirmation, Vouchers & Support
- Booking confirmation will be shared via email. All vouchers and tickets will be provided up to 72 hours prior to departure, subject to full payment.
- Our support team is available at 000000000 from 9 AM to 6 PM (all days except Mondays).
TCS Policy (Tax Collected at Source)
- Under Section 206C(1G) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, a 5% TCS is applicable on international tour packages.
- If your PAN is flagged under Section 206CCA for non-filing of ITRs in the past 2 years, and if your annual TDS/TCS exceeds ₹50,000, then an additional 5% TCS will be levied.
- If this additional amount is not paid, your booking will be cancelled and standard penalties will apply.
Other Important Conditions
- If natural events (storms, political unrest, etc.) lead to cancellation of activities, Yellowboxtravels will process refunds where possible based on vendor policies.
- For complimentary activities that are non-operational, no refund will be processed.
- Day marked as “Leisure” implies no activities are scheduled for that date.
- Timeliness is crucial—missing a tour/activity due to late arrival will be considered a “No Show” and is non-refundable.
Jurisdiction
All legal disputes shall be handled under the exclusive jurisdiction of Mumbai courts, India.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – International Tour Packages (from India)
1. Is the package price fixed once I receive the initial quote?
No. The price shared initially is tentative and subject to change based on hotel availability, airfare fluctuations, seasonal surcharges, or currency exchange rates. The final price will be displayed on the Package Review Page at the time of payment confirmation.
2. Can I cancel my booking after payment?
Once confirmed, most international packages are non-refundable. Cancellation is not permitted unless explicitly mentioned in your package terms. Any refund, if applicable, will be based on vendor rules and subject to deduction of cancellation charges.
3. Can I reschedule or change my travel dates?
Yes, you can request a date change, but it is subject to:
- Availability of components on the new dates
- Applicable fare differences
- Date change fees (if any) as per vendor policy
TCS already paid will remain non-refundable.
4. Is flight baggage included in my package?
If your flight is via a low-cost airline (e.g., FlyDubai, AirAsia, Air Arabia), baggage is not included by default. You can add it at an additional cost. Please inform our team at least 5 days before travel to modify baggage allowances.
5. Does the package include visa processing?
Only if clearly stated. Otherwise, visa procurement is your responsibility. In the event of visa rejection or delays, the package remains non-refundable, and cancellation rules will apply.
6. Is travel insurance mandatory?
While not mandatory for all destinations, travel insurance is highly recommended, and in some cases required (e.g., Schengen countries, Dubai, Thailand). You may opt to purchase it separately or through our team.
7. When will I receive my travel documents and vouchers?
You will receive all travel documents—flight tickets, hotel vouchers, tour details—within 72 hours prior to departure, provided full payment is completed.
8. What is TCS and why is it added to my package?
TCS stands for Tax Collected at Source, mandated under Section 206C(1G) of the Indian Income Tax Act. A 5% TCS is applicable on all international packages.
If you have not filed your income tax returns for the past 2 financial years and your TDS/TCS exceeds ₹50,000 in a year, an additional 5% TCS will be charged.
9. Can TCS be refunded if I cancel the trip?
No. TCS once paid is non-refundable. However, you can claim it as credit while filing your income tax return.
10. Will I get the same hotel as shown in the itinerary?
Yes, we try our best to offer the same hotel. In rare cases where the hotel is not available, we will provide an equivalent category alternative hotel at no extra cost.
11. Do I need to pay any charges at the hotel directly?
Yes, the Dubai Tourism Dirham Tax or similar local government levies are payable directly at the hotel at check-in. This is not included in the package price.
12. Are there any extra charges during Christmas or New Year?
Yes. Some hotels impose mandatory Gala Dinner surcharges during festive dates like Christmas or New Year’s Eve. These are not included in the base package unless specified.
13. What if I miss an activity or transfer due to delay?
If you miss a pre-booked activity, transfer, or tour due to delay or late arrival, it will be treated as a “No Show” and will not be refunded.
14. In case of a dispute, which jurisdiction applies?
All legal matters will be handled under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.
