Dubai Travel FAQ for Yellowboxtravels Customers
Your guide to smooth, informed, and stress-free travel!
- Do I need a visa to travel to Dubai from India?
Yes, Indian passport holders must obtain a UAE tourist visa before traveling. If visa processing is not included in your Yellowboxtravels package, our team can assist you at an additional cost. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the travel date.
- What documents do I need for the visa?
You’ll typically need:
- A valid passport (6-month validity)
- Recent passport-size photo (white background)
- Confirmed return air tickets
- Hotel confirmation
- PAN card copy (if applicable)
Yellowboxtravels will guide you through the complete process.
- Is baggage included in my flight booking?
If your package includes flights via low-cost carriers (like Air Arabia, FlyDubai, Air India Express), checked baggage might not be included by default. You can add baggage as per your needs through our team at least 5 days before departure.
- What is the Dubai Tourism Dirham Fee?
The Tourism Dirham Fee is a mandatory government tax, payable directly at your hotel at check-in or check-out. It ranges from AED 7 to AED 20 per night, depending on the hotel category.
- Will I get the exact hotel mentioned in my itinerary?
We always strive to confirm your preferred hotel. However, in rare cases of unavailability, we’ll provide an equivalent or upgraded hotel of the same category at no extra cost.
- Are meals included in my package?
Most Yellowboxtravels Dubai packages include daily breakfast. Dinners, lunches, or Gala Dinner surcharges during New Year/Christmas are usually not included unless specified in your booking.
- Are airport transfers provided?
Yes, shared airport transfers are included in most of our Dubai packages. Please check your itinerary for the specific transfer type (shared/private). We also offer private transfer upgrades at extra cost.
- Can I customise my itinerary?
Absolutely. We specialise in customizable travel experiences. Before final confirmation and payment, you can request itinerary changes. Post-booking changes may incur additional costs.
- Will Yellowboxtravels assist with visa rejection?
While we may assist with documentation and guidance, visa approval is at the discretion of UAE immigration authorities. In the case of rejection, standard cancellation policies will apply, and the visa fee is non-refundable.
- Are there any COVID-19 rules for Dubai?
Currently, there are no major COVID-related restrictions for Indian travelers. Still, we recommend carrying your vaccination certificate and checking updated guidelines closer to your travel date.
- Is travel insurance necessary?
While not mandatory for Dubai entry, we strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unexpected medical, trip delay, or baggage loss expenses. Ask your Yellowboxtravels advisor to include it in your package.
- Are attraction tickets included in my package?
Popular attractions like Burj Khalifa, Dhow Cruise Dinner, Desert Safari, etc., are included in specific packages. If not, you can book them as add-ons with us at discounted rates.

Early check-in/late check-out is subject to hotel availability and additional charges.
